View individual sessions
1
Open a video → Analytics tab → Viewers sub-tab.
2
Each row is one viewing session — timestamp, device, browser, referrer, and watch %.
Per-viewer data
SettingWhat it does
Watch %How far through the video the viewer got in this session, in 10% steps, with the time it stands for (70% · 3:09).
ReturningA "Returning · 3 visits" badge when the same browser came back. A new visit starts after 30 minutes without activity. A named recipient is one viewer on every device they open their own link on. The overview shows how many viewers returned.
Watch timeTotal seconds watched (accounts for re-watches and skips).
Device & browserWhat device and browser the viewer used.
ReferrerThe URL or domain that sent the viewer to your share page.
IP / locationApproximate country and city derived from IP address.
Share linkWhich share link the viewer used — lets you know which campaign or prospect it was.
Lead dataIf the viewer filled in the registration form, their name and email appear inline.
Search & filter

Use the search box to find viewers by email (if captured) or filter by share link, date range, or watch % threshold to quickly identify your most engaged prospects.

Notifications

Get an email when a viewer watches enough of your video, submits their email, or leaves a message, so you can follow up while you're top of mind.

1
Open a video → Settings → Email Notifications.
2
Tick the emails you want. For Notify me when a viewer watches 70%+ or clicks the CTA, pick how far a viewer has to get: any step from 10% to 100%. Each option shows the time in the video it stands for (for example 70% · 3:09).
3
Save. Every share link of the video follows these settings.
4
To change one link, open it (Share links → ⋮ → Edit → Notifications & alerts) and pick "On for this link", "Off for this link" or its own watch %. A Room has the same watch % option in its settings.
💡 Use a low number (30%) on a link for a busy decision maker and a high one (90%) on a link where only a full watch matters. The video.watched webhook fires at the same number.
What triggers a notification
SettingWhat it does
Viewer watchedSent after the viewer leaves, if they reached the watch threshold (70% by default, set per video, link or Room) or clicked your CTA or booked. A viewer who comes back later and watches again gets another one for that visit (12 hours or more after the last).
Email submittedA viewer fills in the viewer registration form. Sent right away.
Message receivedA viewer submits a message through the viewer messages form. Sent right away.
Nobody opened itOptional reminders while nobody has opened a link (paid plans).
Digest emails

In addition to per-event emails, vitelnk sends a batched digest summarising views, leads, and messages across all your videos. Choose hourly or daily frequency, or turn it off, in Settings → Email preferences.

Viewer registration (lead capture)

Gate your video behind a registration form. Leave the allowed-viewers list empty to collect registrations from anyone, or add specific names and emails to restrict access to a pre-approved list only. Works on both share links and rooms.

1
On any share link or room, open settings and toggle Viewer registration on.
2
Choose which fields to show: Name, Email, Phone, Company. Mark fields as required or optional.
3
Optionally set a Notification email — you'll get an email every time someone submits the form.
4
Save. Viewers now see the form before they can watch.
View registered viewers
1
Open the video → Leads tab to see all submissions.
2
Each row shows the viewer's details, which share link they came from, and the timestamp.
3
Export as CSV for use in your CRM or email tool.
💡 Combine viewer registration with webhooks to push data directly into HubSpot, Pipedrive, or any CRM the moment someone submits.
Viewer messages

Let viewers leave a question or feedback after watching. You get notified by email and can read all messages in the app.

1
On any share link or room, open settings and toggle Viewer messages on.
2
Optionally customise the prompt text — the placeholder shown inside the message box.
3
Set a Notification email so you're alerted when a message arrives.
4
Save. A message form appears at the bottom of the video page after the viewer watches.
Read messages
1
Open the video → Messages tab to see all viewer messages.
2
Messages show the viewer's name (if they filled the lead form), timestamp, and share link source.
💡 Viewer messages are great for async sales — your prospect can ask a question right after watching, and you get a warm lead notification in your inbox.
